UGA's College of Environment and Design (
CED) is home to the oldest landscape architecture program in the Southeast and one of the largest
BLA programs in the United States. In addition to the
BLA and
MLA programs, the College provides a Master's of Historic Preservation, a Master's of Urban Planning and Design, and PhD degrees, as well as certificates in Construction Management, Cultural Landscapes, Environmental Ethics, and Historic Preservation, and minors in Environmental Design, Historic Preservation, Landscape Studies, and Urban Planning. The College's global presence includes regular programming at UGA's campus in Cortona, Italy, and a strong working relationship with Nanjing Forestry University and Beijing Forestry University.
