Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representatives are driven by attitude, inspiration, competitiveness, social media and recognition. The function of the Inside Sales Representatives is to provide direct support to DAR PRO by prospecting for new business opportunities. This job consists of growing the raw material Restaurant customer base/volume via various methods of sales related communication. The Inside Sales Representatives works with the Sales Directors, Account Executives, and operations.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Drives raw material volume and revenue growth through the acquisition of new customer accounts
  • Sources new business opportunities through outbound prospecting via phone and emails
  • Develops relationships with new and existing clients
  • Proactively reach out to leads via phone, email and virtual meetings to generate new business opportunities
  • Routes qualified in-person opportunities to the appropriate Outside Sales Executives for further development and closure
  • Qualify prospects, identify decision-makers and understand customer requirements
  • Present and explain product/service features, benefits, and pricing to potential clients
  • Supports outbound customer acquisition call campaigns for new business and renewal opportunities
  • Works through the sales process to Close/Win Inbound New Business calls appropriately
  • Sources renewal opportunities through internal service agreement/CRM data to ensure customers are on current agreements
  • Implement sales strategies, and follow through to successful contract negotiation, prepares and executes service agreements
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and update CRM system with accurate information
  • Collaborate with marketing team to follow up on campaigns and promotions
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for sales
  • Proven experience in inside sales, telesales or a similar role
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive attitude
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle objections and turn them into opportunities
  • Ability to research and nurture potential opportunities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized: superior time management skills
  • Strong competency in the use of business technologies including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
