The Modality Supervisor work activities may include the coordination and installation, de- installation, relocation, and/or service upgrades of complex medical equipment in hospitals, clinics, and universities. Various medical equipment from each modality may include but not be limited to X-ray, Angio/Cardiology, CT, MR, and NM and other related technical paraphernalia associated with these modalities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee team leaders, field teams, quality, and compliance with the PROBO SOP, customer requirements, and ISO 9001:2000 (International Organization of Standardization) associated with all designated work activities and ensure each process is followed by each team member.
  • Oversee the Quality Management of all field-related standards and compliance related to designated work activities.
  • Assists Quality Management with Contest/Concur process with their Team Leads
  • Validates Competency records for field employees, making sure that records are signed and submitted by employees.
  • Requests calibrated tools on behalf of new TL's
  • Assists Team Leads with supporting return of calibrated equipment for yearly calibration
  • Assists operations support and Field Managers with obtaining missing paperwork and expense requirements, competency records, and QA/SA alerts for the field employees. meeting submission expectations.
  • Works together with field managers, & Project Managers, to develop employee skills and knowledge.
  • Supports Field Managers with disciplinary and corrective actions for employees
  • Must have excellent communication skills, be punctual and courteous, and be able to take leadership responsibility in accordance with managerial etiquette.
  • Performs a minimum of 1 modality meeting (monthly) with field teams
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Provides input and support to Field Managers and Project Managers for scheduling projects.
  • The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Maintains integrity of confidential information
  • Responsible for remote work activities of complex medical devices
  • Maintain customer & Employee relationships
  • Complies with PROBO SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and policy, customer requirements, and statutory and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintains documentation in accordance with the PROBO SOP and customer requirements regarding equipment and facilitated site problems, and out-of-scope work
  • Maintains customer-related activities on PROBO Day One and Final Quality Assurance Checklists
  • Represents PROBO and the customer in a professional and courteous manner
  • Consults with customer Installation Supervisors on modality specific issues
  • Assists Field Managers in performance of field employee evaluations, offers tech and/or training support to employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

  • Top Tier Performance
  • Must be able to lead all products within a modality
  • Must be a role model and trainer for their team
  • Forklift Certified
  • Multi-Modality Coverage
  • Provide a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year university or technical school; or a comparable amount of experience related to the work activities or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to read Metric and Standard measurement and use leveling methods to complete related work activities.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • The position will require the ability to travel, up to 100% of the time.
