Job Description

We are the Omni William Penn Hotel, the Grande Dame of Pittsburgh since 1916. The Omni William Penn Hotel has played a starring role in the city of Pittsburgh, hosting movie stars, politicians, heads of state and leaders of business and industry.



Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced individual for large group accounts across specific markets. The ideal candidate will:

- Maintain and nurture a portfolio of accounts to maximize buisness for the hotel

- Travel to key markets to develop new business and maintain existing relationships

- Promote high visibility of Hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows

- Negotiate, prepare, and review terms of contracts for Hotel services in compliance with Hotel billing and rate guidelines and under supervision of Director of Sales

- Meet or exceed targets for prospecting of sales opportunities and targets for revenue streams, as determined by Hotel management



Qualifications

Be ALL IN with Omni and apply if you exemplify these qualifications:

- Possess a solid background of at least 2 years in hospitality sales

- Have an in depth understanding of the business, competitive landscape and the local market

- Are personable, persuasive and posses excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Are organized and can multi-task

- Have a passion for selling and loves to foster long term relationships with prospective guests
