Summary

The North America Internal Audit Team is responsible for upholding and ensuring compliance with LG Electronics' Jeong-Do Management principle, the core management philosophy of the LG Group, by reviewing the internal control practices, identifying potential risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The team performs independent and objective tasks aimed at enhancing corporate value.

The Internal Audit Manager will work directly with the Senior Audit Manager and Director to perform cyclical, special, and thematic internal audits, whistleblowing investigations, continuous monitoring, and internal process reviews across various business areas of subsidiaries located in North America.

The right person for this role should have a strict ethics mindset and operates with the highest level of integrity. This position also requires strong system and data analytic skills as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities



  • Perform cyclical, special, and thematic audits across business units and subsidiaries, and support organizations to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Review the effectiveness of ethics, compliance, and internal control systems, and propose corrective actions for identified gaps.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans based on audit findings in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Report audit findings and improvement progress to senior management and share key risk issues across the organization.
  • Conduct impartial and confidential investigations into reported misconduct and policy violations to safeguard whistleblower rights and maintain the organization's ethical integrity.
  • Plan and deliver Jeong-Do Management training programs and communication campaigns (e.g., best practices) to enhance employees' ethical awareness and decision-making, while providing guidance and support to strengthen an ethical corporate culture.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years internal audit, accounting, finance, business operations (e.g., production, logistics, procurement, HR) or similar and relevant experience
  • Bilingual in English and Korean
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Sophisticated knowledge of GERP


Recruiting Range
$115,000 - $125,000 USD
