Assumes overall responsibility for the sales service and maintenance of all accounts within the assigned territories. Responsible for providing sales administrative support to all assigned sales representatives. The job will initially be focused on reviewing and editing purchase orders for accurate processing. Organizational Relationships Reports directly to the Customer Service Manager. Maintains close cont act with Sales Managers, Quality Assurance Manager, Design Service as well as Director of Sales Operations. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Initial responsibility will be reviewing all incoming purchase orders. Responsible for all details regarding the accurate processing of orders for new, proforma and open accounts Assumes the responsibility of the primary telephone and email contact for all sales representatives and accounts with the assigned territories. Provides back-up support to all other department personnel, including telephone, email, mail and accurate order processing as needed. Receives and reviews requests from sales representatives and accounts and initiates the appropriate actions. Works closely with order entry to assure timely and accurate acknowledgement, scheduling, and changes of orders. Monitors and works with the Director of Operations and Transportation in expediting orders within the assigned territories. Assists with the tracking of unidentified COM. Works closely with office and factory personnel to assist sales representatives and customers with administrative and product related questions. Monitors all outstanding accounts receivable amounts in territories and takes appropriate action to resolve within 30 days, including credit memo requests and code change requests. Communicates order status to customer and sales representatives as needed. Works with Director of Operations and Director of Sales Operations to address changes to orders already in production. Responsible for initiating any special action required for the assigned accounts (i.e.: special inspection, cartooning, tagging etc) Performs any other duties as assigned by Customer Service Manager Authority The Account Executive is authorized to take any reasonable action necessary to carry out the responsibilities assigned. These actions must be in accordance with the Bernhardt Policy Manual and other established policies, and subject to general or specific authority as established by the Customer Service Manager | |
