Customer Service Representative - Call Center *Location:* Albuquerque New Mexico (statewide customer base)
*Experience Level:* Entry Level / Early Career Make a difference for New Mexico utility customers We're growing our customer care team and hiring customerfocused representatives for our call center. What you'll do * Support customers over phone, email, and live chat regarding their utility service needs. * Handle 40-50 inbound calls per day with empathy, accuracy, and professionalism. * Resolve questions across New Mexico related to: * General service inquiries and account support * Payment and billing arrangements * Collections tied to COVID payment plans * Connecting and disconnecting service * Toggle between 3-5 software systems while working on dual monitors to research, document, and resolve issues. * Deescalate complex situations and drive onecall resolution without transferring to management whenever possible. * Learn and grow-training includes up to five customer service applications, with ongoing coaching and development. What you'll bring (Musthaves) * 1-2 years of call center or highvolume customer service experience. * Proven ability to deescalate and solve problems independently. * Comfort working across multiple software programs at once and using dual screens. * A strong focus on onecall resolution and customer satisfaction. * Desire for a longterm opportunity and career growth. Nice to have * Collections experience. * Bilingual (English/Spanish). * Prior utility industry exposure. * Experience as a trainer or team lead in a call center environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
