National Accounts Coordinator

Our National Accounts Coordinator will focus on maintaining and developing relationships with customers of critical strategic value and ensuring they are properly supported. This position will need to communicate effectively with customers as well as with the Sales, Accounting & Distribution teams to ensure standards are met and relationships are properly cultivated. This position will require objective reasoning and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges in a dynamic environment and contribute to continuous process improvement. This position will report to the Customer Service Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide business partners with solutions via Phone, E-mail, and Chat based tools.
  • Maintain orders within the ERP system and through offline applications.
  • Monitor email for customer purchase orders, changes, inquiries and status updates.
  • Manage the communication tools available to successfully communicate any matters related to backorders, extended lead times, carrier tracking, CURT Group invoicing, and other inquiries.
  • Resolve Customer Order discrepancies by approaching each situation individually. Develop mini-strategic plans to facilitate reshipments, returns, and field destroys in conjunction with necessary Shipping Claim Requests and internal Overage/Shortage filings.
  • Communicate and participate in cross-functional interactions across the organization.
  • Oversee the upkeep of order statuses through appropriate vendor portals.
  • Communicate directly with customers and develop mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales team on any orders, changes or returns.
  • Ensure EDI order parameters align with business needs to mitigate the need for manual intervention.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Work Experience: 2 years' experience in sales, customer service or distribution environment
  • Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite, Advanced MS Excel; prior experience with ERP systems within transaction processing, reporting and inquiries

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Work Experience: 5 years of experience sales, customer service or distribution environment
  • Education: BA or BS within applicable area
  • Computer Skills: Previous experience within Mapics, XA or Infor systems; Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables and managing large data sets
