Overview
This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit's Defense Business Unit ("Spirit Defense"). Spirit Defense is an independent supplier to the defense and space marketplace. Through innovative engineering and rapid prototyping excellence, Spirit Defense provides the capabilities, technologies and support customers need to succeed in their missions.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities: Production/Non-Production Contract and PO (purchase order) monthly audits of Spirit Defense Supply Chain (SCM) procurement activities which are a result of awards to Spirit Defense from USG (U.S. Government) and non-USG entities. Reviews center mostly on pre-award activities and compliance with requirements, although some post reviews may be required. Reviews require diligent attention to detail as the analyst is checking for both accuracy and content to FAR DFARS as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Development of monthly review/audit system including KPI (key performance indicators) and other metrics.
- KPI's and metrics are distributed to Spirit Defense SCM and SCM Leadership, Spirit Defense Senior Leadership, Spirit Defense Government Compliance Leadership, and others, as needed.
- Facilitate individual/team SCM training based on review findings and KPI performance.
- Creation and updating of revision controlled documents and forms for SCM to utilize in the required documentation process, which includes documents for use in the pre/post review process for SCM as well as Governance & Compliance.
- Creation and updating of SCM Business Writings applicable to the pre/post review process.
- Regularly interacting/communicating with SCM, SCM Leadership, and other functions within the organization and Spirit Defense.
- Responsible for ensuring Spirit Defense SCM maintains an audit-ready position at all times.
- Participate in internal and external audits or assessments, as a resource to matters relating to purchasing/subcontracting policies/procedures, USG regulations, and compliance auditing processes.
- Ability to work and interface with diverse levels of Internal/External Customers & Government Personnel Regularly contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards within Spirit Defense Compliance, paying particular attention to those with Supply Chain impacts.
- Be part of a team of compliance individuals focused on maintaining and enhancing not only Spirit Defense's purchasing system, but the other business systems within the Spirit Defense organization.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- US Citizenship status and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Successful candidates must be able to secure Program Access approval
- Skill in making presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders and with all levels of the organization.
- Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; strong computer skills preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
- An active DoD Security Clearance
- Knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (fka Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA))
- Knowledge of procurement processes, investigation, and resolution of complex procurement process issues.
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: $71,750.00 - $110,000.00 Kansas Tax Credit: Join Spirit AeroSystems' Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.
