Location: Silverdale, Washington (Bangor)

Type: Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: Full-time

Compensation: $34.44 - $34.44/hour

Tessera is seeking a detail-oriented and compliance-driven Fuel Management and DRMO Specialist. The primary duties include performing a variety of fuel and DRMO duties. This person is responsible for reporting and accounting for all fuel deliveries and fuel usage, including fuel truck deliveries to generators and tanks within the area of responsibility in the contract.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and report fuel consumption in all fuel trucks and tanks

  • Responsible for ordering fuel and keeping tanks full in accordance with the contract requirements.

  • Provides monthly fuel usage reports.

  • Loading and unloading packages/materials with the use of a forklift.

  • Pulling and processing orders and shipments.

  • Visual inspection of materials/equipment for DRMO.

  • Generate and process DRMO documents from customers and inventory equipment going to DRMO.

  • Responsible for obtaining DRMO appointments with DLA and communicating to customers.

  • Operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

Qualifications:

  • Highschool/Diploma GED is required.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Fuels Management/closely related field

  • Must possess the required environmental certifications relevant to the job.

  • EMS training is preferred.

  • First Aid/CPR Certification and OSHA series of training required.

  • Strong organizational skills are preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

  • A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
