Department OverviewA Region Supply Planner is responsible for all aspects of supply planning activities for their prospective areas. Directly manage the supply alignment for manufacturing to ensure that material is available for factory based on Demand needs. Job Description

In this role you will:

  • Release Planned orders (PLO) for all external suppliers in the supply planning system

  • Release Internal Requisition (IR) / Internal Sales orders (ISO) in the supply planning system

  • Support and monitor Release of Internal Requisition with respective local supply planner

  • Manage Exception messages in supply planning system on weekly basis (alignment of NBD)

  • Weekly Evaluation of Demand Planning values including recommended adjustments

  • Quarterly Evaluation of Inventory Planning (Safety Stock, Segmentation) values including recommended adjustments

  • Weekly Reporting in Global Supply Demand Alignment Meeting (Oversupply Reporting)

  • Responsible for excess material in alignment with Inventory Team.

  • Daily shortage communication and expedite activities with global buyers and Purchasing Team

  • Lead expedites activities for shortages from partner suppliers to meet production plan

  • Authorization of expedited freight as needed to cover shortages

  • Daily supply communication and coordination with production manager and team

  • Alignment on demand and supply with Global Assurance and Global Category Management

  • Present weekly material demand, shortages and status picture to Factory Scheduling and Management (local Weekly Information Meeting - owner Delivery Manager and SC Operations Lead)

  • Communicate material status in changes to all relevant parties

  • Back up partner for Regional Supply Planner Global Cross-functional Team Member

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Supply Chain or other applicable degree

  • 2 or more years Supply Planning / Supply Chain Planning experience

  • Oracle Value Chain Applications (ASCP) a plus

  • APICS Certified (CPIM) a plus

Target Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $105,000

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree

  • 2 or more years Planning experience

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
