Job Details

The Fortin Lab at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut is seeking a dedicated postdoctoral researcher to assist in advancing a newly funded project aimed at characterizing the safety, efficacy, and mechanism of a novel psychostimulant. Studies will involve pharmacokinetic, molecular, physiological, and behavioral experiments in rodent models. Ideal candidates will have a doctoral degree in neuroscience, psychology, biology, or related fields. Experience with rodent models is preferred. As the lab is very new (Sept 2025), this position represents a unique leadership opportunity. To apply, send a cover letter, your CV, and the contact information of 3 professional references to safortin@uchc.edu with the subject line "Potential Postdoc". Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. This is a multi-year position with funding and benefits. Salary is NIH postdoc commensurate.
