• The Claims Specialist is responsible for handling various claims related to construction projects.

• Analyzing Construction Documents: They review contracts, project documentation, and schedule to identify potential issues that could lead to claims.
• Conducting Investigations: Specialists investigate claims to gather necessary information and assess their validity based on contractual obligations and legal requirements.
• Preparing Reports: They prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for claim resolution.
• Negotiation and Mediation: They engage in negotiations with stakeholders to resolve disputes amicably and may also represent the company in legal proceedings if necessary.
• Collaboration: They work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and legal teams to ensure effective claim management and resolution.

• Strong Knowledge of Construction Principles: A deep understanding of construction methods, processes, and industry regulations is essential.
• Analytical Skills: The ability to assess claims critically and determine their validity is crucial.
• Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation abilities are necessary to resolve disputes effectively.
• Communication Skills: Clear communication is vital for collaborating with various stakeholders and presenting findings.

• Office environment with regular visits to project sites as needed.
• Occasional travel to supplier locations, job sites, or company meetings.

• Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry materials or samples up to 25 pounds occasionally.
