We are seeking a Senior Accountant who will calculate partner commissions, revenue shares, royalties, and referral fees. Prepare and distribute the partner reporting and initiate partner payouts. Analyze and retain contractual details, and the accounting support details, as they relate to Partner commissions, revenue shares and referral fees. Guide the GL team with necessary information that would allow them to maintain Journal Entries and Reconciliations, for existing, new, and amended contractual agreements. Lead initiatives around building out more clearly defined processes and process improvements in these areas. Contribute to projects related to the development of automations of existing manual processes.

This position will be filled to work in a hybrid capacity and will require you to come to one of the following Jack Henry office locations at least 1 day a week for collaboration or team meetings: Allen, TX, Lenexa, KS, Springfield, MO, or Monett, MO. We have corporate flight shuttles you can take to travel conveniently between these locations.

This position will have a salary range of $65,900 - $100,000 based on experience and location.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Calculate partner commissions, revenue shares, royalties, and referral fees
  • Prepare and distribute partner reporting
  • Initiate partner payouts
  • Support any return inquires to the calculations, or escalate to partner support or ops teams inquiries unrelated to calculations
  • Attend meetings related to obtaining information or coordinating accounting support to partner revenue shares, royalties, referral fees
  • Analyze and retain contractual details in support of revenue shares
  • Plan and manage complex programs comprised of multiple projects.
  • Ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strategic communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Revenue shares are documented, tracked, and completed.
  • Activities and risk are managed appropriately.
  • Cross-divisional collaboration, resolving escalated concerns.
  • Manage and self-prioritize work to meet contractual deadlines.
  • Automation projects and process improvements.
  • Assists less experienced peers. May act as a team lead.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 6 years combination of experience in advanced accounting and finance roles such as Accounts receivable / payable/ treasury/ general ledger/ financial planning & analysis/ procurement/ audit/ internal and or external reporting.
  • Contractual Acumen and ability to translate complex legal contract languages into actionable accounting entries and processes.
  • Experience with advanced Excel formulas (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statement).
  • Complete assignments using considerable judgement and initiative.
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage tasks to completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Must demonstrate ability to work well under pressure, work effectively with both employees and management.
  • Able to work with confidential materials and employee information and demonstrates confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to adapt to change and have an agile mindset.
  • Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% to attend Jack Henry meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
  • Must be able to work extended hours as business needs dictate and have the ability to work late evening/overtime hours up to 4 business days a month.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Masters in Accounting.
  • CPA
  • Experience in Systems such as Blackline, Salesforce, Peoplesoft/Oracle
  • Technical aptitude in navigating various systems.
  • Experience with automation initiatives; system implementations.
