Post Doctoral Scholar

Post doctoral research associate to gain immunology training and experience supervised by Thomas L Cherpes DVM MD in his laboratory within the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University. Associate with conduct experiments in epithelial biology, immunology, and vaccinology (performing in vitro, ex vivo, and clinical research studies). Associate will assist with data collection, data analysis, preparation of manuscripts for journal publication, and grant proposal development.

Minimum Education Required
Doctorate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in Immunology, Microbiology, or other related fields.

Required Qualifications
Preferred applicants are independent, productive, collaborative, and forthright. Experience in innate and adaptive immunity highly desired. Position requires successful completion of a background check. Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
