We are seeking a Merchandise Planner for a 6-month hybrid engagement in Beaverton, OR. This is an incredible opportunity to make an immediate and significant impact, influencing critical product strategies and directly contributing to the success of high-visibility consumer product lines. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping market presence and driving business growth, collaborating with a passionate and forward-thinking team.

As a key contributor to a large digital planning team, you will orchestrate the lifecycle of key product categories, from initial planning to in-market execution. Your analytical prowess and strategic insights will directly influence inventory levels, sales targets, and overall market positioning, ensuring the company continues to meet and exceed consumer expectations. This position offers a unique chance to tell compelling stories through data, driving informed decisions that resonate across the organization and contribute to the company's core business strategy.

Responsibilities:



  • Manage a significant segment of consumer product lines, focusing on a key category.
  • Lead pre-season planning activities to establish strategic frameworks and forecasts.
  • Execute in-season management, adapting to market dynamics and optimizing performance.
  • Facilitate and participate in monthly re-forecast meetings to align on business projections.
  • Engage in extensive cross-functional collaboration, working with diverse teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Contribute to high-visibility projects that are central to the company's strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree (business-related field preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandise planning.
  • Fluency in Excel and proven experience working with extensive datasets.
  • Proficiency with web-based planning tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders.
  • A talent for translating data into actionable insights and compelling narratives.
  • Deep expertise in retail planning methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • Prior experience with other large-scale consumer or product retailers.
  • Background in the fashion or apparel/footwear industry.
  • A curious and self-starting mindset, with examples of successfully leading projects under ambiguity.
  • An understanding of evolving consumer trends and cultural influences in product categories.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $36.00 to 40.00 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
