Job Summary: The Software & Data Engineering Intern supports the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and data pipelines. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist in building, documenting, and deploying software and data solutions. The intern gains hands-on experience in both software development and data engineering, contributing to projects that enhance business operations and analytics capabilities. Job Duties:
- Assists in designing, developing, and testing software applications and data pipelines
- Supports integration of third-party APIs and data sources
- Collaborates with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Documents code, processes, and data workflows for future reference
- Participates in code reviews and team meetings
- Assists with data cleaning, transformation, and validation tasks
- Supports deployment and monitoring of software and data solutions
- Assists in developing and integrating AI features into software applications
- Supports deployment and management of applications on Azure Cloud services
- Assists in creating and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, required
Experience:
- Coursework or project experience in software development and data engineering, preferred
License(s)/Certification(s):
Software:
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, and version control systems (e.g., Git), preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power Platform, preferred
Language(s):
