Job Summary:

The Software & Data Engineering Intern supports the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and data pipelines. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist in building, documenting, and deploying software and data solutions. The intern gains hands-on experience in both software development and data engineering, contributing to projects that enhance business operations and analytics capabilities.

Job Duties:



  • Assists in designing, developing, and testing software applications and data pipelines
  • Supports integration of third-party APIs and data sources
  • Collaborates with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Documents code, processes, and data workflows for future reference
  • Participates in code reviews and team meetings
  • Assists with data cleaning, transformation, and validation tasks
  • Supports deployment and monitoring of software and data solutions
  • Assists in developing and integrating AI features into software applications
  • Supports deployment and management of applications on Azure Cloud services
  • Assists in creating and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, required


Experience:



  • Coursework or project experience in software development and data engineering, preferred


License(s)/Certification(s):



  • N/A


Software:



  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, and version control systems (e.g., Git), preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power Platform, preferred


Language(s):

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr
Colorado Range: $35.00/hr - $39.00/hr
Illinois Range: $36.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Maryland Range: $34.00/hr - $38.00/hr
Massachusetts Range: $36.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Minnesota Range: $32.00/hr - $36.00/hr
New Jersey Range: $34.00/hr - $42.00/hr
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $36.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Washington Range: $37.00/hr - $38.00/hr
Washington DC Range: $34.00/hr - $38.00/hr
