Corporate Planning & Communications Advisor - Temp
FlexStaff is seeking a temporary Corporate Planning & Communications Advisor for our client. This role emphasizes compelling storytelling, analytical insights, and effective stakeholder engagement to align communication efforts with business objectives.
- Drive awareness of the brand's initiatives through strategic PR and social media campaigns, with a sales-oriented mindset to align with business goals and brand reputation.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media/PR strategy
- Research and vet charitable organizations
- Copyedit, proofread, and revise all communications, ensuring polished, executive-ready content for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare agendas and conduct in-depth research for the Director, providing insights and analytics from press releases and media coverage.
- Proactively initiate and manage projects with a self-starter mentality, ensuring high attention to detail and timely completion.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Planning team to coordinate conferences, trade shows, press interviews, and media-driven events.
- Conduct showroom tours and support initiatives to expand showroom usage.
- Coordinate with key managers and directors to maintain a corporate calendar of public-facing activities.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Public Relations (PR), and Social Media management.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with experience developing executive-level content.
- Proven event management experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives, manage projects independently, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from media coverage and PR activities.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel as required.
