The Enterprise Solutions Project Manager is responsible for the management of projects including working with project sponsors to define scope, creating projects charters and timelines, defining key success metrics, and other standard project management work products. They will also assist in the development of new project management templates as necessary and are responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle including facilitation and execution of the project. Additionally, the incumbent leads and directs cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget, and scope. They must demonstrate sufficient knowledge and experience to appropriately apply a methodology to projects that have reasonably well-defined project requirements and deliverables.



The incumbent will make presentations to management as required and work closely with management on any special projects deemed critical for the success of Group Health Cooperative. The Enterprise Solutions Project Manager serves under the direction, guidance, and supervision of the Chief Financial Officer.

Job Specific Minimum Qualifications



  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Business or related field, Master's degree preferred.
  2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
  3. A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible Information Technology or business-related experience is required. A broad knowledge of technology (networking, applications, software development, databases, internet, etc.), business analysis (requirements gathering, modeling, etc.), and project management is required.
  4. Experience with Insurance Plan, HMO, practice management or electronic medical record systems preferred.
  5. Proven competency in project management. Ability to initiate and follow through on complex projects of both long term and short- term duration.
  6. Knowledge of and ability to use project management software and related programs is required.
  7. Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to make informed decisions while considering a wide variety of conditions and situations.
  8. Experience with project portfolio processes preferred.
  9. Knowledge of electronic medical records systems such as Epic systems preferred.
  10. Ability to maintain organizational and patient confidentiality. Knowledge of HIPAA requirements.
  11. Ability to be culturally sensitive and work with diverse populations.
  12. Proven effective written, oral communication, and presentation skills required.
  13. Excellent organizational skills and ability to pay attention to detail.
  14. Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization while providing excellent customer service required.
  15. Ability to work independently and be results-oriented required.
  16. Ability to manage multiple priorities required. Commitment to meeting deadlines required.
  17. Ability to work in a consultative approach with users in assessing needs and requirements.
  18. Ability to train and mentor non-project management staff on basic project management skills.
  19. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  20. Ability to work extra and/or flexible hours including occasional weekends may be required.
  21. Ability to travel to various work sites. Employee is expected to provide personal transportation. Possession of a valid, Wisconsin driver license if the employee is operating a motor vehicle.
  22. Ability to stay current on, and adapt to, rapidly changing technology and business processes.
  23. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  24. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
