Job Description:

Job Summary

As a People Operations Specialist at the P3 level, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the employee experience across the semiconductor organization. This role requires deep expertise in benefits administration, leave and workers' compensation management, and HR systems, along with the ability to lead process improvement initiatives and mentor peers. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, supporting a dynamic and fast-paced workforce including engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration

  • Administer and optimize health, welfare, and retirement programs in alignment with company strategy and compliance requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for employee benefits, resolving complex inquiries and guiding employees through life events and enrollment processes.
  • Partner with brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and continuous improvement of benefit offerings.
  • Lead annual open enrollment and support renewal strategy, including system readiness, communications, and data audits.

HR Systems Management

  • Maintain and enhance HRIS and benefits platforms, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors on system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting.

Leave & Workers' Compensation

  • Administer leave programs including FMLA, ADA, state-specific leaves, and company-sponsored time off policies.
  • Coordinate with payroll, legal, and third-party administrators to ensure accurate leave tracking, pay continuity, and compliance.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims, partnering with safety and risk teams to support employee recovery and return-to-work programs.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives within People Operations.
  • Mentor junior team members and serve as a resource for complex case management and escalations.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, and Finance to ensure alignment and compliance across programs and policies.

Preferred Education & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR operations, benefits, or generalist roles, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, ADP) and benefits administration systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead projects, and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or engineering populations in a global or multi-state environment.

Pay Range:

$72,100.00 - $94,605.00

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Beaverton, Oregon pays between $72,100.00 and $94,605.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You'll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
