The Center for Behavioral Neuroscience (CBN) is an award-winning, interdisciplinary research consortium. CBN supports innovative research on the brain mechanism of social behavior, educates new generations of research scientists and students in interdisciplinary approaches to behavioral neuroscience, and transmits the excitement of scientific discovery to the public. CBN celebrated its 20-year anniversary in 2019, marking the tremendous strides made by center members in research and education that will have a lasting impact on the field of neuroscience for decades to come.

Center for Behavioral Neuroscience is seeking (1) dedicated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Associate

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The essential duties and responsibilities of Postdoctoral Research Associate are the following:

Data Collection and Analysis.

  • Application and development of methodological design and statistical analysis.

  • Designs and conducts research using neuroscience approaches, duties/responsibilities.

Project Management.

  • Provides administrative and management support for projects (e.g., IACUC, IBC, etc.).

  • Responsible for budget oversight and purchasing on independent projects.

Mentoring/training.

  • Training research technicians, undergraduates, and/or other personnel on research activities, project management, and lab-associated tasks.

Manuscript and grant preparation.

  • Coordinates, prepares, and writes research papers, abstracts, presentations, and other research-related communications.

Professional development.

  • Attends workshops, courses, and seminars to enhance research and professional skills.

  • Participates in career development activities and presents research at meetings or conferences.
