Postdoctoral Research Scholar

The University of Iowa Department of Molecular Physiology & Biophysics (in collaboration with the Dept. of Psychiatry) is seeking a candidate for a postdoctoral scholar position. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct highly technical in vivo neurophysiology and behavioral experiments and participate in largescale multidisciplinary collaborations. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and project management skills will be essential. Beneficial expertise includes having designed experiments studying pregnancy and the post-partum state, rodent behavior, neurophysiology, and a track record of success in working and communicating across multiple disciplines.

The position requires the academic knowledge of a discipline generally associated with a Doctoral degree in Neuroscience or an equivalent professional degree, i.e., M.D., D.D.S., or D.V.M.
