What You'll Be Doing

As the Housekeeping Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department-creating a spotless environment that exceeds guest expectations while motivating a team to deliver their very best each day.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations for guestrooms, suites, and public areas.



  • Inspect guest rooms and public spaces regularly to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and brand compliance.



  • Communicate room readiness and status updates promptly with the Front Office team.



  • Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance based on business levels and occupancy.



  • Maintain inventory levels for supplies, linen, and equipment; oversee ordering and cost control measures.



  • Ensure all associates have the proper tools, uniforms, and training to perform effectively.



  • Coach, develop, and motivate team members, celebrating successes and recognizing outstanding performance.



  • Respond promptly to guest requests, feedback, and concerns, taking proactive steps to ensure guest satisfaction.



  • Implement and monitor housekeeping policies, procedures, and safety standards to protect guests and associates.



  • Support budget and expense management initiatives, aligning department operations with hotel financial goals.



  • Collaborate with Engineering, Front Office, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations and a seamless guest experience.




What Is Required


  • Minimum of 3 years of housekeeping leadership experience in a full-service or luxury hotel environment.



  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse housekeeping team.



  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with an eye for detail and quality assurance.



  • Familiarity with Marriott systems preferred.



  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.



  • A positive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
