Are you a recent college graduate, new to your IT career, or ready to make a move in your IT career? About the Role TEKsystems is partnering with a leading organization in the Wausau area and wants consultants to be part of a major technology upgrade initiative. This hands-on role focuses on upgrading systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in field services and IT support. You'll work behind the scenes to ensure smooth implementation while providing occasional customer service support. Key Responsibilities * Upgrade and troubleshoot Windows-based equipment (computers, desktops, and mobile devices). * Perform hardware setup, system configuration, and basic troubleshooting. * Provide on-site support and assist with customer inquiries as needed. * Travel to multiple sites within a 30-40 mile radius; mileage reimbursed. * Maintain accurate documentation and escalate issues when necessary. Qualifications * Minimum 6 months of technical experience in IT support or related field. * Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. * Reliable vehicle for travel between sites. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wausau, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
