Job Description

The duties and responsibilities for this position involve teaching multiple undergraduate courses in the marketing and digital marketing domain and serve as the coordinator of the Certificate in Marketing Analytics program. Specifically, the person hired in this role is expected to teach Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and/or Digital Customer Experiences. The individual in this role will report to the Chair of the Department of Marketing. He/she will be involved in service duties such as serving on department and college committees, coaching students for digital marketing competitions, supporting students for marketing analytics competitions, and advising student organizations. He/she will also engage industry partners to build partnership and introduce real-world cases into the classes.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in digital marketing and integrated marketing communications

Candidates Will Be Evaluated On:

  • Highest degree earned in marketing or related field.
  • Previous teaching experience.
  • Interest in and ability of teaching undergraduate courses in integrated marketing communications, digital marketing, social media marketing, search engine strategies, and/or digital customer experiences.
  • Interest in and ability of coaching students for digital marketing competitions.
  • Ability of working with industries to bring live cases into the classes and fund raising.
Anticipated Hiring Range

$85,000 - $105,000 annually
