Job Description




As a Security Professional - Residential Patrol Driver FT in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the community. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for navigating the area to monitor assigned zones and respond promptly to situations as they arise. You'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity, working together with the team to create a welcoming and secure environment for all residents and visitors.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at residential locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support residents and guests.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related hazards found during patrols within the residential area.
  • Communicate clearly with residents, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters or incidents.
  • Assist in controlling access to residential amenities and common areas as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
