Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Real Estate Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will perform routine patrols, remain a visible presence, and interact with tenants and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and support. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for suspicious behavior or conditions.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site supervisors regarding any security-related concerns, incidents, or unusual activity encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and reporting any unauthorized persons in restricted areas of the commercial real estate property.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including guiding building occupants and coordinating with onsite management or emergency personnel if needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
