This Position reports to:

Manufacturing Unit Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the local management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Each day, you will ensure operations are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by coordinating and overseeing team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in Mebane, NC.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Own and drive a best-in-class customer experience from Order Entry through Delivery. Take an active role in resolving escalated issues, especially those raised by a customer. Ensure lessons learned from project execution are analyzed and conclusions are incorporated in continuous improvement actions.

  • Define and execute the comprehensive PMO strategy, ensuring all projects and initiatives align with the organization's strategic objectives and priorities. Establish and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

  • Develop, implement, and enforce leading project management methodologies, standards, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and dashboards to track project progress, performance, and financials. Provide regular, transparent status reports and data-driven insights to stakeholders to inform decision-making. Drive Root Cause Analysis culture, ensuring Containment and Correction Actions are taken as required and track sustainability of actions implemented.

  • Analyze financial data, including project financials, forecasts, and risks. Maintain high coordination and collaboration with Planning and Fulfillment and Controlling to ensure alignment on key financial forecasting and performance.

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers and support staff. Set performance targets, conduct reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree AND advanced project management knowledge with minimum of 12 years of related experience

  • Experience of people leadership experience (Preferred)

  • Candidates must already have work authorization to work in the US.
