Job Purpose:

The Business Analyst II serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting detailed requirements. This role drives process improvements, facilitates stakeholder collaboration, and supports solution design and implementation. The Business Analyst II is expected to work independently, manage priorities across projects, and contribute to strategic business initiatives by translating complex needs into actionable plans.

Job Duties:

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions and interview stakeholders.
  • Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Perform advanced data analysis, work with data models, dashboards, and metrics.
  • Create process flows, wireframes, and user stories to support solution design.
  • Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and communication across business and technical teams.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives by aligning solutions with business objectives.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure deliverables meet business needs.
  • Ensure adherence to business analysis best practices, documentation, and traceability
  • Will perform special projects as assigned.

Education, Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of business analysis experience (1-3 years in financial services preferred).
  • Business Analyst certifications preferred.
  • Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with requirements and collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of business process modeling and improvement techniques.
  • Strong data analysis skills; ability to query and interpret data.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management life cycle (PMLC).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and business resources.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Travel required based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, finance, or a related field.
