What You'll Do
As an Estimator, you'll be at the heart of our project lifecycle-translating creative concepts into actionable, cost-effective manufacturing plans. You'll work cross-functionally with design, production, purchasing, and project management teams to ensure every quote is accurate, competitive, and aligned with our commitment to quality and profitability. Key Responsibilities: 
 - Analyze blueprints, specifications, and materials to develop detailed cost estimates.
 - Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to identify optimal tools, fixtures, and manufacturing methods.
 - Leverage ERP systems to standardize and streamline the quoting process.
 - Prepare comprehensive bid packages and pricing proposals.
 - Conduct cost comparisons and historical analysis to refine future estimates.
 - Maintain a visually controlled schedule of incoming quote requests and manage quote timelines.
 - Present value engineering options to reduce costs without compromising quality.
 - Track quote win/loss ratios and provide insights to senior leadership.
 - Ensure seamless handoff of project data to Project Managers.
 
 
 
What You Bring
 - 10+ years of estimating experience in millwork, casework and architectural interiors
 - Plans and specifications from client provided sources, IE: building connected, FTP sites, Dropbox, etc. 
 - Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and project specifications to determine millwork requirements, i.e. cabinetry, paneling, trim
 - Prepare accurate scope take-offs inPlan Swift, Bluebeam, or other industry-standard take-off software - Project PAK a plus
 - Accurately estimate materials, labor, and associated costs for custom woodwork projects
 - Able to estimate sports stadiums and hospital projects ranging from $500k to $10M+
 - Prepare change order requests and costing in conjunction with the project manager
 - Advanced skills in Excel, Word, MS Office
 - Highly organizational skills, strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
 - Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with project managers, production, and sales teams to ensure projects stay within budget and timeline

Salary Pay Range: $90,000-100.000 plus, annually dependent on experience
 
Bonus/Incentive PayAnnual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance
