What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors regarding access procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and/or observations as required.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to communicate security-related updates and observations.
• Support emergency response activities by following established procedures and working with client representatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Willingness to work at locations with limited on-site facilities is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
