Apply Now > Save Job Job Saved Provides leadership and management for the Supply Chain function of the division in support of the Parker WIN Strategy. Works with suppliers, business units, procurement, production control, I/T and other appropriate resources to strategically plan and coordinate the flow of materials and information from customers through order fulfillment. Reports to the General Manager. Interacts routinely with all division functional areas, as well as with suppliers, regulatory agencies, and group/corporate management. Will coordinate best practices with other Division Supply Chain Managers and the Group VP of Supply Chain. NVH is a global division with $500M in annual sales, containing two Business Units - Industrial Equipment (IE) and Aerospace & Defense (A&D). Leads all Supply Chain Management activities within the division Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management. Responsible for facilitation of the S&OP Process Responsible for the overall strategic initiatives to minimize risk, reduce costs, and ensure continuity of supply Establishes and implements standard/automated re-order procedures Negotiates long term contracts in coordination with group staff and policies Establishes and implements standard/automated delivery procedures for just in time supplier stocking items Establishes and maintains premier customer service Responsible for continuous improvements programs with suppliers Accountable for managing the division's overall strategic production planning practices taking into consideration short term/long term production requirements and integrating materials availability Responsible for managing the division operational inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels for immediate production items and forecasting for future requirements Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. Promotes and fosters a safe work environment Supports career development within the function, ensuring team member growth and successor development Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, business, engineering, or other related discipline. Master's degree (MS or MBA) preferred. APICS or ISM professional certification preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others typically acquired through ten or more years of increasing experience and responsibility including prior leadership roles. Previous experience leading supply chain in an aerospace manufacturing environment highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, analytics, and supply chain data tools.
