Chassis Engineering Intern
What You Will Do:

  • Assist in identifying and resolving chassis system-related issues
  • Support investigations of customer complaints, warranty claims, and plant issues
  • Collect and analyze subjective and objective data through on-site and field testing
  • Participate in benchmarking studies of competitor vehicles and service procedures
  • Research market trends and customer feedback using industry reports (e.g., J.D. Power and Consumer Reports)
  • Help implement new tools, technologies, and methods for data acquisition and analysis
  • Support, prepare, and present technical reports to engineering teams
  • Follow guidance from senior engineers and complete assigned tasks in a professional manner

What You Will Bring to the Role:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in aerospace, automotive, electrical, or mechanical engineering
  • Basic understanding of chassis systems and vehicle components
  • Knowledge of chassis fundamentals (e.g., NVH, brake systems, fuel systems, HVAC systems, steering systems, and suspension systems)
  • Root cause analysis skills
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with data acquisition and analysis tools
  • Interest in vehicle testing, diagnostics, and quality improvement
