Position Title: Student Affairs Assistant

Department: Student Affairs

Approximate Hours per Week: 15-17

Wage: $15.97

Number of Openings: 1

Primary Duties:

Assist all Student Affairs staff with projects, programs, and initiatives as needed.
Plan and execute monthly activities for students to enjoy.
Design marketing and communications for upcoming events.
Work from the Pinska front desk to provide greeting services to visitors.
Check in weekly with supervisor regarding upcoming events.
Maintain your work availability on Outlook Calendar to let office staff know when you are working.

Qualifications

Friendly demeanor and an openness to learning.
Excited to interact with other students and encourage them to attend events.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Strong self-direction, motivation, and initiative
Computer skills, especially for designing posters
Ability to lift 45 lbs. occasionally while assisting with event set up, clean up or organizing department supplies.
