If you are located in UT state, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges. This position follows a hybrid schedule withtwo days in office, three days at home. Must be licensed in Utah state

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with a multidisciplinary Care Coordination team
  • Serve as the primary adult Utah State Hospital liaison for Salt Lake and Tooele counties per contracting and other state requirements
  • Work with community providers and/or partners in receiving referrals and completing Utah State Hospital admission packets for adults for admission review for Salt Lake and Tooele counties
  • Attend a monthly/bi-monthly Continuity of Care meeting with Utah State Hospital staff and liaisons from each of the Local Mental Health Authorities (LMHA)
  • Meet with current USH clients for treatment need support, discharge planning and follow up after discharge
  • Coordination with the justice system and AP&P
  • Complete reporting that includes but not limited to monthly census reports, admission packet tracking, discharge coordination status and housing status post discharge per contracting and other state requirements
  • Coordinate with community treatment providers and housing options to support USH discharge planning
  • Complete the required documentation in both internal and external electronic health record

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed Master's degree level clinician in: Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage & Family Counseling; OR Licensed Ph.D. or Licensed PsyD; OR an RN with 2+ years of experience in behavioral health (licensure must be current and unrestricted in Utah state or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • 3+ years of behavioral health clinical experience in an inpatient/acute setting or outpatient setting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Utilization review experience in an insurance company or managed care setting
  • Experience in discharge planning and/or chart review
  • Experience in inpatient/acute setting or outpatient setting
  • Knowledge of Level of Care Guidelines (i.e., Milliman, InterQual, etc.)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
