Job Description:

Company Description: Microchip Technology Inc. is a market leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of Frequency Control, Sensor, and Hybrid Product solutions using the latest cutting-edge techniques.For over 70 years, the Mount Holly Springs facility has been providing solutions for Satellite Constellations, Deep Space Exploration Missions, Military Systems, GPS, Communication Networks, and much more. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs regular quality assessments of raw materials, in process or finished assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality standards
  • Verify conformance to applicable procedures and other approved documents
  • Provide acceptance or rejection for compliance to established standards and processes
  • Document's inspection results by completing logs, summarizes re-
  • work and scrap, and inputs data into quality database
  • Readinternal documentation, assembly drawings, customer specifications, military, and industry standards to understand the requirements of products and services
  • Interact effectively and professionally with all customers and coworkers
  • Review quality concerns and production team to improve product quality
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
  • Willing to be trained more on the following areas: inspection techniques, quality methodologies, and use of inspection apparatus and testing equipment
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good dexterity skills / hand-eye coordination
  • Quality and safety minded
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer, math and reading comprehension skills
  • Previous QA experience a plus but not required (preferred)
  • Previous assembly experience a plus but not required (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Schedule:

  • M-F, 3:30PM - 12:00AM (2nd shift)
