Description Emergency Department Technician -Maine Medical Center Portland For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for ED Techs - (CNA): Unit Bio: The Maine Medical Center (MMC) emergency department (ED) is Maine's only American College of Surgeons Level One verified trauma center. Located in Portland, the MMC ED is also home to Maine's onlypediatric emergency department. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed to meet the needs of a high-volume patient population from Maine and New Hampshire, as well as visitors from all over the world. Patients seen in the ED may be experiencing Chest pain, Falls greater than 10 feet resulting in injury, Heart attack, Seizures, Suicidal thoughts or actions, mental health crisis, Physical attack or rape and Poisoning among other conditions.
