The Salvation Army Midland Division Corps located in Springfield, Missouri, is looking for an individual who would like to apply their experiences to fill our Resource Coordinator position. This position supports the Development Department's overall goal of resourcing the Springfield Corps by maintaining an awareness of needs (needs coordination) and focusing on identifying, recruiting, cultivating, and managing volunteers (volunteer coordination) for our various programs, securing gift-in-kind donations, and identifying, recruiting, cultivating vendors who provide services that save the Army operating dollars and overseeing the Red Kettle Campaign. Position supervises volunteers. This is a full-time exempt position 30 hours per week. 1707 W Chestnut Expy, Springfield, Missouri Essential Functions
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field with two years of related work experience. Event planning and volunteer supervision is a plus. Combination of education and work experience will be considered. Must have a valid driver's license and pass the Salvation Army MVR check. Must be willing to support The Salvation Army mission. Knowledge of Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required. Microsoft Teams experience a plus. Ability to use internet search capabilities essential. Ability to use social media essential. Excellent oral and written communication essential. Must be able to work well in a team environment while also having the ability to work independently. Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time. Physical and Working Conditions Must be able to perform the duties of the job. Must be able to work in an office environment using a computer, answering phones, and operating office equipment. Must be able to work outdoors when needed in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on occasion. |
