Responsible for developing and executing complex, strategic communication plans and initiatives to support the engagement of and professional needs of UVA Health internal and executive teams. This position leads the development and delivery of strategic, timely and cost-efficient communications to achieve specific, measurable goals, in alignment with organizational priorities. This position will design and maintain effective, informative, and creative internal communications and productively engage with all our stakeholders via multiple channels, including digital, print, multimedia, etc. As a senior communications strategist, this individual will work closely with other members of the Internal and Executive Communications team on larger editorial initiatives and content strategy. Responsibilities include application of internal communications principles, efficient project management, quality content creation, excellent interdepartmental communications, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet demanding deadlines with a variety of stakeholders and teams.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing required. Experience: 5+ years of relevant professional experience required. Licensure: None. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. Position Compensation Range: $70,600.00 - $141,201.00 AnnualBenefits
