MARKETING ANALYST We are seeking a Marketing Analyst/CRM Manager to support our Business Development and Marketing team. This role will focus on turning Salesforce and related business data into actionable insights, empowering our teams with analysis and reporting that drive growth, customer engagement, and strategic decision-making. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders and collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure the right data sources, pipelines, and structures are in place to provide insights to the business. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a knack for storytelling through data. They are comfortable bridging business needs and analytics, translating raw numbers into clear, usable insights, and building trusted partnerships across functions. Qualifications: Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field OR 4 or more years of equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, or BI roles (preferably in sales/marketing contexts).
- Proficiency with Salesforce reporting and Tableau.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with comfort presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative approach to working across business and technical teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in construction, professional services, or related industries.
- Familiarity or experience with SQL
- Familiarity or experience with Python

Office and Travel: This is a low-travel position based that can be based out of any one of McGough's offices. Occasional in-town travel and overnight travel may be required. Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business to identify areas where data sharing can improve business decisions for the organization.
- Lead analysis efforts to identify opportunities for customer acquisition, retention, loyalty, and cross-sell within business development.
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports leveraging Salesforce and other marketing/sales data.
- Document and escalate data gaps to ensure business information and analytical needs are met.
- Support the data collection and analysis processes to provide insights on customer behaviors and preferences.
- Partner with the data engineering team to extend data warehouse coverage and integrate new internal/external data sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track CRM effectiveness.
- Deliver recurring reports and KPIs (e.g., weekly performance, pipeline trends, marketing ROI) to leadership.
- Provide consultation and ad-hoc analysis to business development and marketing leaders, shaping strategies with data-driven recommendations.
- Promote adoption of standardized BI tools and reduce reliance on manual Excel reporting.
- Support testing and rollout of new BI reports and dashboards with business stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of CRM tools to improve customer interaction and experience.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to present findings and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in user training and support for CRM systems and processes.
- Contribute to the development of customer segmentation strategies to enhance targeted marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to align efforts. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate as an active member of the Business Development, Marketing, and Business Analyst team. Contribute to shared goals and collaborate with colleagues on achievement of priorities.
