In this pivotal role, you will immerse yourself in the intricate world of analog and mixed-signal circuit design, translating complex schematics into physical layouts that meet stringent performance, area, and power targets. You'll collaborate closely with design engineers, leveraging your expertise to overcome technical challenges and deliver fully verified, robust designs. Your work will directly influence the performance and efficiency of critical components within our client's most anticipated innovations, ensuring their products continue to set industry benchmarks.

What You'll Do:



  • Craft sophisticated physical layouts for mixed-signal and analog circuits using deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
  • Collaborate with design and schematic experts to develop world-leading electronic systems.
  • Review and analyze intricate circuit designs and floorplans to optimize layout strategies.
  • Execute comprehensive design verification tools on analog and mixed-signal blocks.
  • Partner with circuit design engineers to plan, schedule, and coordinate essential layout tradeoffs.
  • Interpret LVS, DRC, and ERC reports efficiently to accelerate layout completion.
  • Exceed engineering specifications and expectations through close collaboration with the design team.
  • Apply advanced CAD tools and mask design knowledge to deliver accurate, robust layouts that precisely match performance, area, and power requirements.


Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal layout design, with a focus on deep sub-micron CMOS circuits and at least 2+ years in FinFET technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work with multi-functional teams
  • Familiar with CAD tools like Virtuoso, Innovus, Calibre is a plus
  • Programming knowledge in SKILL, Perl, and/or Python is a bonus
  • Concentration in Mixed-Signal and RF Integrated Circuits is helpful
