We're partnering with a leading global brand for a Merchandiser for a 3-month hybrid engagement in Beaveron, OR. We're looking for a dynamic individual who will shape seasonal assortments and drive market strategies. This is a chance to bring your passion for product and retail expertise to a team that thrives on creativity, collaboration, and moving at the fast pace of consumer demand.As a pivotal member of the merchandising team, you will own the seasonal assortment strategy for our retail channels, ensuring our product offerings resonate deeply with consumers. Your contributions will directly influence product visibility and market success by:

Responsibiliities

* Leading the development and execution of seasonal assortment plans for our retail channels.

* Collaborating extensively with fellow merchants, buyers, and cross-functional teams, including digital and stores buying, consumer merchandising, planning, allocation, visual merchandising, brand marketing, finance, operations, and insights/analytics.

* Honing consumer-centric assortment plans across multiple seasons, leveraging a deep understanding of market positioning and competitive landscapes.

* Coordinating product strategies across various categories and brands, understanding their individual and collective impact.

* Participating in seasonal buy reviews and in-season trading to influence actions that optimize growth.

* Utilizing comprehensive business reporting, including quantitative and qualitative metrics on sales, inventory, and consumer behaviors, to inform strategic decisions.

Qualiifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

* 4+ years of experience in footwear or apparel buying and/or merchandising, product creation, or retail within a vertical, multi-brand, or digital environment.

* A strong affinity for current market trends and an understanding of how apparel can continue to be a style leader.

* Demonstrated experience in footwear, apparel, equipment, or relevant consumer product buying and/or merchandising.

* Proficiency in common retail and/or digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, turn, ASP, and UPT.

* Proven retail competence and strong analytical abilities.

* Exceptional business acumen and the ability to contribute to and drive strategy into action.

* Strong communication, partnership, and influencing skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

* Ability to travel up to 20%.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $28 to $32/HR. Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
