Job Duties
Brody School of Medicine's Department of Academic Affairs is seeking to hire a full-time Clinical Support Coordinator for their Student Affairs Division.

The primary function of this position is to provide support for all students in the clinical curriculum at the Brody School of Medicine. The role provides professional level administrative and programmatic support to the clinical medical students as well as multiple other initiatives in the office. The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for planning, scheduling, evaluating, and executing various programs in the medical school curriculum while ensuring student success. The coordinator will communicate with faculty team members, students, and administration to facilitate the effective implementation of clinical programs. This position assumes primary responsibilities for facilitating implementation of the programs and student success on a day-to-day basis, reviews materials, ensures that essential deadlines are met, and coordinates with team members to ensure coordinated effective delivery.
Additionally, this position is responsible for developing, seeking approval for, monitoring, updating, and reviewing the clinical services contracts in the College. These contracts are required for student field experiences and developed between BSOM, community field sites, counterparts, and colleagues at other Universities, as well as community and/or regional community to explain programming options, processes, policies, and procedures. This position will serve as the liaison to the College of Allied Health Sciences with the Division of Health Sciences Contracts Office ( DHSCO) and with contract offices as clinical experiential field sites. This position will also facilitate and manage all BSOM compliance requirements for criminal background checks, drug testing, immunizations, according to agency contractual agreements and accreditation guidelines for all students.
