A Brief Overview To ensure specialized support through program management and coordination to increase our culture of inclusion. Employee will manage a portfolio of programs and related activities for staff and help to build organizational cultural competency capabilities through the delivery of various education activities. The role also includes assisting with Employee Resource Group management and support and helping to develop related education strategies.
What you will do
- Under the guidance of the Director, provide consultation and marketing toward and deliver belonging, inclusion and cultural competence education to staff to increase the individual and collective capability for managing across difference and foster inclusion.
- Manage and provide support for cultural awareness activities across the organization. Make recommendations for programs and develop activities that increase awareness of a rich array of customs and traditions and their impact on patients, employees and communities. Develop and coordinate hospital-wide awareness events that support the CHOP's inclusion & belonging framework and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
- Assists team in developing and resourcing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)/Clinical Affinity Groups (CAGs), providing operational support and developing tools to help with programmatic collaboration and membership engagement.
- Develop and direct tracking strategies and related metrics to monitor and evaluate program performance and effectiveness; make program enhancement and improvement.
- Develop, deploy and manage departmental interns, volunteers and students.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
- Master's Degree - Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of program/project management and/or large-scale event planning Required and
- At least one (1) year of presenting concepts and delivering education/training to adult learners in a non-profit, corporate or healthcare setting Required
- At least five (5) years of experience managing programs, projects and/or large-scale event planning Preferred
- At least two (2) years of experience designing education/training programs and delivering education to adult learners in a hospital setting Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of cultural competency, inclusion and belonging topics (Required proficiency)
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning methods and inclusion concepts (Required proficiency)
- Knowledge and experience in culturally responsive skill development (Required proficiency)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a positive manner with others. (Required proficiency)
- Ability to lead projects and create an inclusive environment relating to persons of all backgrounds and life experiences. (Required proficiency)
- Ability to train and supervise volunteers. (Required proficiency)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment. (Required proficiency)
- Strong computer skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. (Required proficiency)

$81,670.00 - $104,130.00 Annually
