JOB TITLE: Assistant Professor in Counselor Education JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking to hire a dynamic counselor educator committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service who brings a vision and passion for preparing excellent counselors and counselor educators. This position is for one 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Counselor Education program within the College of Education. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: We expect all faculty at the University of Wyoming to be excellent teachings and be committed to innovative teaching approaches resulting in improved student learning. Faculty in the College typically teach five courses per academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in academic scholarship (including grant writing and conducting/publishing/presenting research in counselor education), along with service within the university and to the profession.
