Here's what you'd do:

  • This role involves ensuring classified information systems meet cybersecurity requirements and government directives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to establish architecture content and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Have fundamental knowledge of Systems Engineering practices, network technologies, system developmentlife cyclesand methodologies, and insight into information technology infrastructure management/monitoring and applications.
  • Provide analysis, design, development,implementation,and security assessments to ensure compliance with JSIG/RMF Continuous Monitoring tools and processes.
  • Perform system-level analyses, determine, and undertake necessary trade studies, and define and allocate the functional requirements to the subsystem.
  • Ensure all program requirements are met, program risks are identified and mitigated, and company processes are followed.
  • Recommend and implement system enhancements to improve the performance, reliability, and security of the system, including installation, upgrade, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration.
  • Serve as a Cybersecurity Engineer (ISSE) providing high-level technical and practical expertise.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $144,300 - $176,300 /year.

Hours: 9x80 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Direct Hire.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of systems experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Current Special Access Program (SAP) access.
  • Experience supporting military or defence programs.
  • Proven experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST800-53.
  • Experience in developingandmaintainingsecurity documentation, including SSPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
  • Good critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risks.
  • Proven track record of building relationships, fostering collaboration, and working cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting customer needs into achievable requirements or capabilities.
  • Experience working in air-gapped, classified, or highly secure environments with no direct internet access.
  • Experience using compliance and vulnerability assessment tools, including ACAS, Tenable, Nessus, SCAP, or HBSS
  • Monitoring and correlating data (logs, events, activity) from various sources (Splunk, ELA, ePO, ESS, ACAS) to identify and mitigate threats, vulnerabilities, and non-compliance issues.
  • Basic scripting for automation (Bash/Powershell)
  • Networking experience - TCP/IP, DNS, NetBIOS, switching, firewalls
  • Experience in Open Mission Systems/Universal Command and Control Interface (OMS/UCI).
  • Familiarity with open system architectures (ASPN, CMOSS, PNTOS, JADC2).
  • Working knowledge of industry standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, for airworthiness, ARINC and RTCA standards.
