Job Title: Service Analyst - I

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)

Job Summary:


  • The Service Analyst I will support Institutional Annuities operations by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of service tasks.
  • This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • No prior experience is required - training and coaching will be provided.




Key Responsibilities:


  • Sort and organize incoming mail, faxes, emails, and OneDrive files; assign to appropriate teams
  • Index PDF documents into Global Search to maintain up-to-date records
  • Review participant contract data for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and send correspondence to contract participants
  • Assign inbound correspondence to service representatives
  • Monitor and track response timelines, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Maintain accurate records in workflow systems and participant files
  • Review forms and documents for compliance
  • Process routine non-financial account activities
  • Provide clear explanations of basic functional information to participants and colleagues
  • Answer participant phone inquiries with clarity and professionalism
  • Assist with locating missing participants and uncashed checks, including obituary searches
  • Help employees locate tax forms when needed




Must Have Skills:


  • Strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work remotely using VPN
  • Basic familiarity with ChatGPT and Microsoft tools
  • Ability to pivot quickly and maintain focus on repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail and punctuality




Preferred Qualifications:


  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • No prior experience required-on-the-job training provided
