Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Sets up equipment needed for assembly/inspection as per established documentation as well as per engineering instruction.
  • Understands own tasks and how they relate to others in their team. Works under moderate to minimal supervision where duties are defined. Will follow standard work where applicable.
  • Assembles component parts as per print or per engineering instruction. Utilizes both manual and automatic machine operation.
  • Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications and per engineering instruction. Identifies and escalates quality non-conformances.
  • Completes required Device History Records, Engineering Orders, and other documentation per Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • When necessary, can independently document material and process traceability in an engineering notebook or other written record.
  • May package assemblies and/or finished devices for shipping.
  • Participates in team activities focusing on process/product improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provides suggestions, comments, and requests clarification as necessary via written or verbal communication to engineering personnel.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Actively participates in "flex break" programs as required
  • Expands skill base through on-the-job training, cross training, and instruction.
  • Can run experiments and/or test equipment following clear instructions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum Education: High School Graduate or equivalent. Technical or vocational schooling preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: 2 - 4 years company related experience. Medical Device experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

Special Skills: Good organizational and communication skills.

Specialized Knowledge: Ability to read technical drawings/prints. Computer operation skills. Mechanical aptitude. Product knowledge helpful.

Our compensation program includes base wages, a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy, overtime pay, shift differentials, and call-in pay, when applicable. We provide a comprehensive benefits package with immediate eligibility including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and adoption benefits. Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
