Description This is a per diem/casual position working 8-hr shifts on weekdays with variable start times between 7am-8:30am and a 30 minute lunch. No weekends or holidays. Located at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla. The ideal candidate will work 4 days/month. Why join Scripps Health? What you'll do: Perform technical skills to accurately assess the status of each patient Educate patients and document patient interactions Practice infection control Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care Perform EKGs Place external monitors Support AICD & pacemaker clinic by rooming patients and prepping charts Prepare patients for cardiac Stress Testing #LI-EE1 Qualifications Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: At least 6 months experience performing 12 lead EKG's Basic EKG training Current BLS from the American Heart Association Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: National EKG Registry Cardiology Experience 4 months experience performing Stress Testing Job : Pt Care Technical Primary Location : Central San Diego County-LA JOLLA-SCF-ANDERSON MEDICAL PAVILION Work Locations : SCF-ANDERSON MEDICAL PAVILION 9898 GENESEE AVE LA JOLLA 92037 Organization : Scripps Clinic Job Posting : Oct 10, 2025, 2:38:50 PM Benefit Status : CA - CASUAL Minimum Rate (USD) : 25.40 - Maximum Rate (USD) : 33.15 In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs.
