Shift: The regular hours for this position are day shift.Job Description: The eProbes Assembly Technician assembles small probe products within time & quality requirements according to company specifications. Performs a variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations on probe tips. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Assembly technicians must multi-task and oversee multiple processes with a high attention to details in a very fast-pace production environments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *Tip Attach, lap and grind, planarity and force, RC test, and OQC inspection. *Perform all technical duties of an Assembly Test I as needed. *Assemble microelectronics components using epoxy and UV curing. *Using grinding equipments to flat and the coax to meet the customer's specification. *Perform assembly and testing of probe tips. *Soldering very small coax high frequency probe. *Performs incoming and outgoing inspection of parts and coupons. *Maintain accurate and complete paperwork requirements for the operation/job being worked on. *Identify and communicate any quality/production related issues or bottlenecks to superiors. *Participates in ongoing process improvements. *Collect, organize, and evaluate Statistical Process Control (SPC) data. *Follow security, safety, and quality procedures for all work performed. WORK ENVIRONMENT: *Must be able to sit and to work on microscope operations for extended periods of time (~75%). *Able to perform detailed visual inspection and a variety of other tool-related operation tasks that may be performed either manually or be automated. *Able to wear safety lab equipment such as safety glasses and protective eye wear. *Ability to learn and follow safety procedures. *Able to lift, push and pull up to 10-15lbs (boxes, carts, etc). *Able walk long distances (walking back and forth in Mfg floor). *Requires the ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements. *Requires the ability to work with hazardous materials and chemicals and follow safety procedures. Skills: Basic Math, Communication, Detail-Oriented, Digital Microscope, Heat Treatments, Manufacturing, Mechanical Assemblies, Mechanical Equipments, Microassembly, Microsoft Office, Product Assembly, Reading, Small Parts Assembly, Soldering, Teamwork, Wafer Probing, Work Instructions, WritingEducation & Experience: Minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience. Operative/Technician roles will typically operate more complex machinery/processes| RequiredPay Range: $18.80 - $24.68Pay Range Explained: This role in Beaverton, Oregon pays between $18.80 and $24.68 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
